The 8-inch mattress is a 5.5/10 on the firmness scale (the 6" SMART Comfort mattress is a slightly firmer option; the SMART Ortho is the firmest option).

The Sleep Company SMART Luxe Grid is the first Smart Grid mattress available in Asia. It is constructed with the following 3 layers:

• 2" Super stretchy Smart Grid (made of a Hyper Elastic Polymer Gel)
• 4" Soft Proprietary Transition Foam
• 2" Premium High Density Foam.

3D Airflow Fabric on the sides of the mattress help your mattress stay ventilated and fresh.

The rare combination of Natural Latex (65 Density) and HR foam (55 Density) makes it a firm mattress with excellent back support for people with severe back pain issues.

Most orthopedic mattresses are a medium-soft firmness on the top comfort layer and a very firm on the support layer - this can support your back however this does not provide comfort. Our proprietary Flo Responsive™ poly foam forms the foundation of this mattress and ensures that no part of your body sinks into the mattress more than it should through the night. This layer responds accurately to pressure; the more pressure your body exerts on the mattress, the more it reacts to support you.
The high resilience foam top layer has been designed to provide firm orthopedic support especially to those suffering from lower back pain. This layer also lends the mattress some bounce and springiness.

The top layer is a high grade natural latex with built in ergonomic support which allows for better air circulation and relief from pressure points. Proper posture matters, even during sleep. If your backbone is misaligned for eight hours, it can be hard to function normally the next day. A firm mattress does a good job of keeping your spine aligned so that you wake up refreshed the next day.

The patented Smart Grid is made from a super stretchable Polymer Gel which can stretch up to 1000% of its original size and bounces back to its original shape over and over again. You don't have to worry about your mattress sinking or sagging over time like you may have experienced with memory foam or spring mattresses.

The Tencel cover is an eco-friendly fabric derived from the Eucalyptus tree. Even in hot Indian climates it keeps the mattress cool. It is softer than silk and wicks away moisture. The cotton inner cover keeps you cool while you sleep. Both covers are removable.
