The Natural Latex mattress is a medium-firm, around a 7/10 on the firmness scale (with 1 being soft and 10 being firm). Suited for all stages of life - kids, adults and the elderly; and recommended by orthopedic and chiropractic doctors.

The SleepyCat Latex scores between 6 and 7 on our Firm-O-Meter. A similar firmness to the SleepyCat Plus.

The 6-inch mattress is a 6.5/10 on the firmness scale (the 8" SMART Luxe Grid mattress is a slightly softer option; the SMART Ortho is the firmest option).

Most orthopedic mattresses are a medium-soft firmness on the top comfort layer and a very firm on the support layer - this can support your back however this does not provide comfort. The Breezy Inner Cover is a specially designed inner netted cover that protects both foam layers and allows adequate airflow for lasting freshness and comfortable rest.

The open grid structure of the patented Smart Grid layer promotes airflow, it does not trap your body heat, and does not make you feel hot and sweaty at night.
The Smart Grid also isolates motion and ensures there is no partner disturbance.

You can never have too much support, but you can always have too little support. This is especially true for older people and those with back, neck or joint problems. Proper posture matters, even during sleep. If your backbone is misaligned for eight hours, it can be hard to function normally the next day. A medium firm mattress does a good job of keeping your spine aligned so that you wake up refreshed the next day.

A 7-zone latex provides seven zones of support - softer where you need it and firmer to offer better support for your hips. The 7 zones are: feet & ankles, lower leg, thigh & knee, hip, lumbar, shoulder & upper back and head & neck. The patented Smart Grid is made from a super stretchable Polymer Gel which can stretch up to 1000% of its original size and bounces back to its original shape over and over again. Morning Owl mattresses have 2 removal zipper covers. The outer cover is made of Tencel® Fabric, that is eco-friendly as it is made from the Eucalyptus tree and has superb properties - softer than silk, more absorbent than cotten and cooler than linen. The inner cover is made of organic cotton (woven). This is naturally hypoallergenic and protects you from the heat of summer and the cold in winter.

The SleepyCat Latex features the same cover as the Plus - an ultra-premium Smart Zipper Cover that is made of a high GSM knitted fabric for flexibility and smoothness. The cover can be quickly removed, cleaned and reattached super easily thanks to the Smart Zipper. This cover has tiny holes to allow breathability and ventilation, and a 4-way stretch that grips your body and creates an anti-slide effect. When you move, it moves with you.

Every Morning Owl mattress is handcrafted by experienced craftsman in our production facility in Kerala, India and custom-made to order. We ship from our factory directly to your door via BlueDart typically within 3 to 5 days from placing your order (usually received in 8 to 10 days).
